It Me
Writer, Software Engineer, Herder of Cats, Remote Viceroy of Developer Experience

Arkay writes fiction, nonfiction, and everything in that general vicinity. She also writes software for her day job and enjoys asking humans whether they can pass the Turing test. Her favorite story to tell in job interviews is how she completely and irreparably bricked her first computer, so please consider her for that job with your delicate softwares.
She regularly ponders whether, like the ship of Theseus, she can ever distinguish who she once was from who she is becoming. Lately she’s started suspecting reality is a weird construct of the wad of spicy bacon in our skulls and in the long run, nothing is true and everything is permitted. She believes the only thing that makes us human is choosing to be kind.
An avid tea drinker, stroke survivor, and general goofy goober, she lives near the land between the lakes, just west of that really cool cave. When you visit, show her your favorite shiny rock and tell her what flowers you like best.
